About Our Podcast

CHRISTOPHER

Chris is a marathon runner, aggressively disciplined, and a rule-follower to an almost moral degree. He drives exactly five miles over the speed limit, which is why his family won’t ride with him if they’re in a hurry.

Naturally sarcastic with a brain that never shuts off, Chris will interrupt any conversation to finish a Starbucks order and then fully commit to a five-minute side quest with the baristas. He’s always thinking, always building, and currently juggling roughly 8,000 projects—from running marathons and studying personal training to co-hosting a podcast, building a business, and working as Global Head of Operations at a PR firm in NYC.

Moderation is not in his vocabulary, despite his insistence that he lives a “balanced life.” He’s easily overwhelmed, permanently motivated, and schedules his emotions with the same intensity as his calendar. His idea of self-care is a half marathon that accidentally turns into a personal record.

Chris can’t work unless the house is clean, the dogs are happy, his husband is cared for, the desk is perfectly aligned, and the lights are dim—but not too dim. On External Validation, he brings structure, self-awareness, dry humor, and just enough chaos to keep things honest.

About Our Podcast

EMILIA

Emilia is married, lives in New Jersey, and works as an Executive Assistant at a professional services firm — which means she keeps everyone else’s life running smoothly while actively dissociating through her own. Sitting at the youngest and only daughter of Serbian immigrants (mama & tata, hvala vam na žrtvi), it makes her the prettiest son and the most emotionally complex person in the room by default.

She loves 75 Hard, the way Gordon Ramsay yells at people, and absolutely any fad that suggests discipline will fix her life — especially the ones that promise to change your life in 30 days with minimal effort. Her decision-making process usually involves asking seven people for their opinions, sitting with it for too long, spiraling a little, and then giving up entirely. There are currently 17 personal development books waiting to be read “one day,” but only once the conditions are perfect: total silence, 67 degrees, low humidity, exactly five minutes before sunset, and the right balance of mindset and matter. So… any day now.

Emilia adores her friends, is down for literally anything, and takes everything deeply seriously. Totally obsessed with travel, new foods, trying a new recipe at home and the next restaurant you haven’t heard of yet (but she’s already saved, pinned, and ranked). At her core, she’s building toward the big stuff—financial freedom, generational wealth, confidence, abundance, rockin bod—while fully acknowledging the chaos of getting there.

Thoughtful, funny, a little woo-woo, intense in the best way, and occasionally mentally elsewhere, Emilia brings honesty, humor, and zero pretense to External Validation—whether she’s fully present or mentally buffering.
